Since the task board was not to be a viable option to tie strip production another method was needed. I had done
some resin casting before and thought this might just be the way to approach making tie strips. What follows has
been about a year of experimentation. Some successful, some not. I'm using my CNC Sherline to mill Plexiglas masters.

Using a CAD program I drew up a drawing that was then converted to G-code for the machine. A piece of Plexiglas has been secure to the machine ready for milling. |
