This project has been collecting dust for almost four years. Two items that held up the project was a way to motorize the conveyor and a need for a material to simulate
the rubber belt. I have finally found material for the belt. Also found several micro gear motors for driving the belt. First the mechinism has to be redesigned for the .500"
wide belt. These material finds will also get several other projects moving forward. First a complete redesign of the conveyor mechinism is in order.

Two types of material was found at a fabric store (Joann's Fabric). The bias tape is folded three times giving four .500" wide belts when cut along the fold. The Hem Tape is a single piece of material. It will be used for this conveyor construction. |
