After the shell was assembled it needed to be fastened to the floor.
I made up four pieces from angle stock. The pieces were soldered
to the shell so the floor bottom would be flush with the sides.

The four holes were drilled and tapped for 0-80
screws to hold the shell to the floor.

A piece of .030" thick styrene was glued to the top of the front
beam so the floor would sit level front to back. The back end sits
on the hump of the black protrusion which is .030" higher than
the front beam.

Holes were drill through the front and a piece of brass
stock is tapped 0-80 to hold down the front of the floor.

The mechanic's to hold the chassis to the shell. The green circles
shows 0-80 screws going through to tapped holes in the floor.
The red circle points to a milled piece to hold the rear end of the
chassis to the floor. Also included is an 0-80 threaded hole for
the semi-permanent drawbar.

The roof was next. I milled out some curved ribs
on the Sherline mill.

The ribs were solder on to 1/16" square brass tubing. I used the
MDF square that I used to solder the sides together with to make
sure the ribs were solder on square.
