And there you have it. The second cut is finished.


Comparing the unfinished left side with the finsihed right side. Some clean up is in order.


I set up my Sherline lathe as a mill and milled the back sides down flat and level.


I then clamped the shell on it's side with the piece of wood inside to keep from
colapsing the shell and prceeded to mill the saw cut square with the bottom of the shell.


Did the same for the roof section.


The end glued back on for a shorter B unit.


Next the frame needs to be shortened so the shell fits back over it.
The other B unit in the upper part of the picture has already been done.


I tried milling it off but it was to much for the little mill to handle. I used a
saw to rough cut the end off and then trimed it to proper length with the mill.
